The BIG Poker Tournament

You don't have to be a poker pro to come play (or bluff)! On Friday, February 7th, at Ozarks Event Center, we're raising the stakes at this professionally run Texas Hold Em Tournament. Whether you’re a poker shark or just in it for the snacks, your participation helps ignite the power and promise of youth in our community by supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.

Don’t know how to play? No problem! Poker is basically a mix of luck, intuition, and looking mysterious while holding snacks. Come for the food, stay for the fun, and maybe—just maybe—leave with a BIG win - a piece of the $3,000 Poker Prize Pool! Pre-register belo!

PRICE CUTTER CHARITY CHAMPIONSHIP

FUTURE GREATS, GREAT FUTURES
The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy is your chance to see the PGA’s future greats playing to give local kids great futures. Since the tournament began in 1990, it has raised more than $19.4 million for children’s charities throughout the Ozarks. The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy (PCCC) is a PGA Tour golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. The event is played at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield, and is the parent to a myriad of related events hosted throughout the Ozarks.

PROTECT AND SERVE

The Springfield Police Department offers a new kind of public service: food service. Officers partner with servers at Springfield Brewing Company on Friday, August 15, 2025 to serve food for one evening with all tips donated back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.

Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series

We partner with a variety of organizations throughout the Ozarks to bring these activities to our area and to serve local charities. The Fitness Series is sponsored by Bass Pro Shops and other local, regional and national businesses, but proceeds from all of our events go back to local charities. Volunteers help make these donations possible as well; every hour of volunteer time results in a $10 donation to charity.

Our events provide many opportunities for volunteer participation and even offer volunteer leadership roles. From preparation opportunities like putting together race packets for participants, organizing materials and participant amenities, to race day experiences such as running aid stations on the course, working the finish line and creating a positive experience for participants and spectators, there are so many ways for you to be involved! We want to positively impact you as a volunteer as well!

Many of our volunteers return year after year to their favorite events and have become part of our key volunteer team. Please consider this chance to help people achieve their goals and bring your friends and family with you!
